Can sensitive data be kept outside the public Cloud?
Yes, provided the scope is settled during scoping rather than mid-switchover. Three levers exist: a split between sensitive projects and ordinary ones, archiving outside the tool for the history that no longer needs to stay live, and deliberately keeping a limited perimeter on site. Each lever has a running cost.
What is the difference between legal sovereignty and operational sovereignty?
Legal sovereignty concerns the law applicable to the processing of your data. Operational sovereignty concerns your ability to keep operating without your supplier.
