An IT consultancy for IT departments: management and governance.

BleuLemon is an IT transformation consultancy working with IT departments, from the IT audit through to the adoption of new ways of working. Six services cover IT service management, costs, projects, change and application maintenance. We have been working since 2008, in Paris, in Lyon and across France.

Our services, organised into three areas.

Each service can be commissioned on its own, with its own scope and its own objectives. Together they form a coherent continuum that supports a transformation end to end, from assessment through to implementation, adoption and continuous improvement.

Advice and trajectory for IT departments

IT assessment

Five days to a roadmap. You leave with prioritised, costed decisions, not with a report. The Assessment sets the scope, identifies the risks and sets the first 90 days of action.

Change management

Adoption is prepared from day one. Change management is not a phase of the project: it begins at scoping and continues past go-live. We work on real ways of working, team rituals and adoption indicators, alongside the managers and teams concerned.

Platforms and operational transformation

03 / 06

IT service management (ITSM & ESM)

Service management designed to work day to day. Service catalogues, portals and contact channels, SLAs, knowledge base, workflows, handling rules: we work on every component of the service, with one simple aim, that they be understood, adopted and applied lastingly by the teams.

Application maintenance & managed services

The logical continuation of your deployments. Once the solution is in production, we can extend our involvement according to scope and stakes: application maintenance, user support or staff secondment. We adapt the arrangement to the real need, with service commitments, regular management and a clear allocation of responsibilities.

ITFM, FinOps and IT performance management

IT cost control (FinOps & ITFM)

An IT budget that is easier to read, better shared and genuinely manageable. We structure the costs, put showback mechanisms in place and build the dashboards that make spend easier to understand, trade-offs more objective and the conversation with business departments easier. We rely on IBM Apptio (ApptioOne and Cloudability) or on the tools already in place in your organisation.

Project & portfolio management

Clear priorities and capacity better under control. We help you structure the governance of your portfolio, make trade-offs objective and hold a shared view of priorities, workload and capacity. We also implement the backlog management processes that feed this, in Jira, OpenProject or the tools already in place. Tooling then supports governance and practices that genuinely work day to day.

A complete and coherent approach. Understand, scope, deploy, drive adoption, keep it alive.

A tool only creates value if it is genuinely used. That is why our services follow the same logic, from understanding the need through to use over time. The value of a project is not decided at scoping or at deployment alone, but above all in its capacity to be adopted, used and to keep meeting the needs of the organisation.

TimeWhat we doWhat you get
UnderstandWe record actual ways of working, the stakes and the risks from what is in place: processes, existing tools, costs, what irritates the teams.A shared picture of the current situation.
ScopeWe define the scope, the governance and the security stakes, then we set the trajectory.A prioritised, de-risked trajectory.
DeployWe configure, integrate and document in short batches rather than in a big bang.A scope in production, tested with the teams who use it.
Drive adoptionWe train and equip the teams, and we measure actual use.Ways of working that stick, not just a platform delivered.
Keep it aliveWe provide support, enhancements and the review of service commitments.A platform that keeps up with your organisational changes.

Change management is not optional. It starts at the first scoping workshop and is measured after go-live.

Where do you start?

IT audit, IT master plan or Assessment?

We are sometimes asked for an "audit" when the need lies elsewhere. These three approaches are often confused under a common vocabulary, yet they answer different questions, have different reach and support different decisions.

Frequently asked questions

A question that finds no answer here is dealt with in a thirty-minute conversation, about your actual context rather than a general case.

What should you expect from an IT consultancy?

A consultancy should help you decide and act, not merely document what exists. At BleuLemon we start by understanding the need as expressed, its context and the objectives being sought. That lets us answer the request precisely, but also challenge it where useful, identify the underlying stakes and propose, if necessary, a more relevant trajectory.

Every engagement aims at a concrete result: a prioritised roadmap, a scope in production, ways of working that are genuinely adopted, or service commitments that are clearly defined.

What is the difference between an IT audit and an IT master plan?

An IT audit establishes a picture of the current situation: it analyses processes, tools, costs, risks and friction points at a point in time. An IT master plan looks further ahead: it aligns the information system with the company's strategy and organises the major projects to come. The two are complementary, but they do not answer the same need. Depending on the context, one may be enough, or serve as the starting point for the other.

Which service should you start with when the need still has to be refined?

The Assessment is often a good starting point when a situation needs clarifying quickly, the stakes need to be made objective and a decision has to be taken on what comes next. Depending on the subject, we adapt the scope, the duration and the deliverable to focus the analysis on the questions that genuinely matter. The aim is not to add another stage, but to let you start on solid ground before committing to a larger project.

Do you work outside the Atlassian ecosystem?

Yes. Our consulting services do not depend on any one vendor. We work with the tools and platforms best suited to the need, including Matrix42, IBM Apptio, OpenProject and XWiki. Our long-standing partnership with Atlassian gives us deep expertise in that ecosystem, but it does not determine the solution we recommend. We start from the need, the ways of working and the context before choosing the tool.
