Atlassian: structuring work, services and knowledge.

Atlassian solutions manage team work, services, projects and knowledge on a shared foundation. BleuLemon supports organisations in the scoping, deployment, integration and adoption of these solutions. We also work on licensing, migrations, platform changes and long-term operation.

Atlassian

Platinum Solution Partner Enterprise

ITSM Specialized · Paris & Lyon

2008the year the partnership began.
It has never stopped.

83% of target clients retained over the last 3 years (BleuLemon internal data) · more than 20 active Atlassian certifications.

A shared ecosystem for several uses

Atlassian publishes a suite of solutions that share the same principles: projects, requests, workflows, permissions, automation, dashboards and knowledge.

The point is not just to use several products from the same vendor. It is to create continuity between the work of the teams, service management, projects and decisions.

We work mainly in four broad areas.

01
Service Management (ITSM)

Organising IT and business services: portals, requests, incidents, changes, SLAs, assets and knowledge.

02
Work and development management (ALM)

Structuring requests, backlogs, tasks, projects, sprints and the development cycle, from the need through to production.

03
Strategy, Programmes and Portfolios

Linking the teams' work to the organisation's projects, programmes, capacity and priorities.

04
Knowledge management

Documenting procedures, sharing information, capturing decisions and linking knowledge to the work that produced it.

These areas can be addressed separately, but their value increases when they share consistent data, processes and governance.

A rich and coherent ecosystem

Jira

Steering the work.

Jira handles requests, tasks, backlogs, projects, sprints and workflows.

Each item can be qualified, assigned, prioritised and tracked over time. Jira is often the operational source that then feeds the project, programme and portfolio levels.

Product · Development · Business

Jira Service Management

The service relationship.

Jira Service Management covers service portals, requests, incidents, changes, service commitments and asset management.

Historically used by IT departments for ITSM, it can also be extended to business functions in an ESM approach: human resources, procurement, facilities or other internal services.

IT support · HR · Procurement

Confluence

Written knowledge.

Confluence structures documentation, procedures, minutes and decisions.

Its integration with Jira and Jira Service Management links knowledge directly to the work and the requests that produce it.

All teams

The other building blocks of the ecosystem

The Atlassian ecosystem also includes solutions for identity management, planning, portfolios, development and operations.

We determine with you which building blocks are genuinely useful, based on how you work and on the information system already in place.

Why work with an Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner?

BleuLemon has been an Atlassian partner since 2008 and holds the level Platinum Solution Partner Enterprise as well as the specialisations ITSM Specialized and Cloud Specialized.

Buying your licences through a Platinum partner brings four advantages over buying direct from the vendor.

01
Scope before choosing

The number of seats, the plan, the products, the apps and the hosting model should follow from actual usage. So we start by understanding the need before defining the solution.

02
Buying and steering your licences

We resell Atlassian licences and support their management over time: choice of plans, grouping of subscriptions, co-terming, analysis of unused seats and preparation of renewals. Price monitoring is part of our commitments: we inform our clients no later than 89 days before an Atlassian price change takes effect.

03
Access to Atlassian programmes

Our status lets us draw on the schemes Atlassian offers when a client is eligible, particularly for Cloud migrations, with the FastShift programme for example.

04
Continuing beyond the release

The need does not disappear when the platform goes live. We can continue our support through application maintenance, user support or consultants made available, depending on the scope and the needs of the organisation. And all of it in French!

The team at work, in the offices

Our evidence: 83% of target clients retained over the last 3 years (BleuLemon internal data), more than 30 staff in Paris and Lyon, more than 20 active Atlassian certifications, clients such as Safran, Opteven and Viamedis.

What we do on your Atlassian environments.

Our framework has five stages: understand, scope, deploy, drive adoption, keep it alive. On an Atlassian platform: an audit of how you use it, PoC and initial configuration, integration with your information system, technical and functional Run, decommissioning of the tools replaced.

On migrations and integrations, tailored to your instances and your priorities.

01
Bringing data back from a third-party tool into Jira, Confluence or Bitbucket.
02
Setting up a multi-node architecture for your Data Center products.
03
Connecting your Atlassian solution to another building block of your information system.

Our rapid-response format combines a review of the configuration with workshops with your administrators and key users: quick wins identified, then a plan to scale. Then comes what decides the outcome: governance and adoption. We build the framework for use together with your teams, we remove the obstacles, we train. Our consultants are also trainers, in sessions of 1 to 8 people. See our Atlassian training.

A tool is like a musical instrument: even a Stradivarius would never make you a musician by magic. But when the groundwork has been done well, a good instrument makes the difference.

Marketplace apps and their blind spots.

The Atlassian Marketplace hosts thousands of third-party apps. They fill real gaps and create two points to watch: a dependency on a vendor, and a risk at migration time, because not every Data Center app has a Cloud equivalent.

Marketplace apps

We map the apps installed, we measure how they are actually used, we separate the ones that carry a process from the rest. On this front we work with Appfire.

Aquarius, our own solution

Extraction and archiving of Jira projects outside Jira, into a browsable ZIP archive (Word, JSON, XML exports). Three uses: GDPR compliance, external audits, lightening the load before migration. Scope: Jira Data Center and Cloud. It is distributed directly by BleuLemon, outside the Marketplace. “Migrating everything is migrating too much.” Discover Aquarius.

Cloud migration, licensing, archiving: the three workstreams that keep coming up.

The official Atlassian calendar sets the end of life of Data Center on three dates. The scope covers Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bamboo, Crowd and the Data Center apps.

30 March 2026End of Data Center sales to new customers.
30 March 2028Last purchase or extension for existing customers.
28 March 2029Switch to read-only, at 11:59pm PST.
Atlassian Cloud migration

The announced end of Data Center requires the organisations concerned to define a trajectory. We support that migration from the analysis of the existing estate through to cutover, adoption and Run.

Atlassian licensing

Pricing, tiers, dormant seats, reselling.

Jira archiving before migration

Reducing the scope to migrate without losing the useful history.

Atlassian licensing

The number of seats, the plans, the apps and the renewal dates have a direct impact on the cost of the platform.

We resell the licences and support their optimisation over time. Discover Atlassian licensing.

Jira archiving before migration

A migration or an instance consolidation is also an opportunity to decide what really has to stay in the active platform.

Aquarius makes it possible to archive the projects that must remain readable without necessarily being transferred into the new instance. Discover Jira archiving.

The questions we get asked about Atlassian

A question that finds no answer here is dealt with in a thirty-minute conversation, about your actual context rather than a general case.

Talk to an expert
What is Jira for?

Jira structures and tracks work: requests, tasks, bugs, projects, backlogs, sprints or versions.

Each item has a status, an owner and a history. Workflows govern the processing stages, and the data can then be consolidated into dashboards or higher management levels.

Can Jira be used as a ticketing tool?

Yes, but Jira Service Management is generally better suited when it comes to organising a genuine service management activity: portal, SLAs, requests, incidents, knowledge and asset management.

What is Jira Service Management?

Jira Service Management is Atlassian's service management solution.

It is used for ITSM but can also serve as a foundation for ESM initiatives in Human Resources, Procurement, Facilities or other internal functions.

What is Confluence for?

Confluence is used to create and share documentation, procedures, minutes and knowledge bases.

Its integration with Jira links knowledge directly to projects and requests.

Is Jira free?

Atlassian offers free plans on some products, with limits on the number of users and on features.

They can suit small teams or exploratory use, but they do not always meet the needs of a larger organisation.

How much does a Jira licence cost?

The price depends on the product, the number of users, the plan and the hosting model. Atlassian publishes its prices by tier and revises them regularly. A partner compares the tiers for you. BleuLemon informs its clients no later than 89 days before a price change.
